IPCA Executive Director Participates in the 8th East Africa Human Rights Program 2025 in Tanzania

Executive Director of the  (IPCA), participated in the 8th East Africa Human Rights Program (EAHRP) 2025, held in Tanzania. The program brought together representatives from nine countries—Ethiopia, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Sudan, Burundi, and Rwanda—fostering regional collaboration on human rights education and advocacy.

Organized and supported by EQUITAS | International Centre for Human Rights Education, in partnership with Canada, the EAHRP serves as a platform to strengthen human rights initiatives across East Africa and the broader African continent. The program equips participants with essential knowledge and strategies to promote equality, social justice, and respect for human dignity worldwide through human rights education.

Dr. Malabe participation highlights IPCA commitment to advancing the rights and Health well-being of marginalized communities through advocacy, education, and strategic partnerships.

Empowering Youth, Marginalized Women including people with disabilities, and People living with HIV for Climate change Resilience

At  (IPCA), we are empowering and working together with youth, people living with HIV, people with disabilities, people who inject drugs (PWID), and marginalized women to build a sustainable and resilient future. Our Climate Change Resilience Program equips communities in Ruvuma with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to address environmental challenges while advocating for conservation and sustainable development.

Our Focus Areas:

Habitat and Species Protection: We engage local youth and women in protecting natural ecosystems through afforestation, land restoration, and sustainable conservation practices.

Environmental Entrepreneurship: We provide training in eco-friendly business models, such as sustainable farming, waste recycling, and green innovations, to promote economic independence while protecting the environment.

Environmental Education & Technical Training: Our workshops, community dialogues, and mentorship programs equip participants with climate knowledge, advocacy skills, and hands-on training in conservation and sustainable practices.

Through this initiative, we raise voices, inspire action, and stand together at the forefront of climate resilience in Ruvuma. By fostering environmental stewardship and economic empowerment, we create lasting change for those most affected by climate challenges.
